We tell you what Twtrr is and what it is, the new experimental application of the social network Twitter that some users are already testing today.
The profitability of Twitter has never been as expected. Despite growing every year in users and use, the economic aspect has been left behind in a network that reaches all audiences and does not suffer crises such as those that are damaging other social networks. In order to solve this aspect, the company has decided to experiment with an application to try new formulas.
It is not a typo, Twttr is the new experimental application that will be available to users so they can try new Twitter features. This update, which at the moment will be limited to a small number of people, will seek to improve the interaction between users and block the activity of the bots.
The Twttr name will sound to the most veteran for being the one that was used in the first versions of the social network, twelve years ago. The logo used is similar to the current one, although with a slight redesign that makes us intuit an egg around the bird as a metaphor of what its objective is.
Regarding the tests that will be carried out, the first thing will be to change the thread system to which so much use is being given in the last year to show it as presentations or conversations in which the visual aspect will prevail, with the inclusion of other colors and indentations, as can be seen in the 9to5mac sample.
But Twitter has already warned that it will not limit it only to this area and that it will experiment with more radical tests, such as changing status updates or RTs.
So far, it has been announced that it will invite some 2,000 English and Japanese users and that the application will be compatible with iOS. But in the near future it will extend the possibility of participating in the experiment to more users.
