It has taken more than a year since WhatsApp Business was launched for Android, but it seems that the enterprise version of the most used instant messaging system in the world is about to come out.

At the moment WhatsApp Business for iOS is in beta, which is a novelty, and means that in a few weeks could reach the Apple Store and be available to all users officially.

“WhatsApp Business was launched in January 2018 for Android.”

What can be said is that the trial version of WhatsApp Business for iOS devices is already available, although at the moment it can not be downloaded because all the available seats for the beta phase in “TestFlight” have already been “covered”.

The operation of the application is similar to that of WhatsApp Business for Android. By accessing and registering, the user can migrate their conversations from traditional WhatsApp to WhatsApp Business. What can not be used at the same time with the same number WhatsApp normal and WhatsApp Business for iOS, as already happened on Android.

The rest of the functionalities is completely similar: it allows you to configure welcome messages, automatic responses, and so on. WhatsApp has not signaled when the official launch of WhatsApp Business for iOS could take place, but being in the beta phase it is normal to take place in the coming weeks.

Actually it is not known why it has taken the company so long to have ready the version for iPhones, perhaps opted for Android because, ultimately, Google’s mobile operating system has many more users than Apple (treasures more than 80 % market share worldwide) but this does not mean that it had to take so long to develop the version for iOS. The normal thing is that it could take a few weeks, but almost a year and a half is, by all accounts, too much.
