Tinder is the app to link reference. Its owner, the Match group, has eight other services to meet people online, including Plenty of Fish, OKcupid and Meetic. But of all of them, Tinder is the jewel in the crown. In its presentation of results of the last quarter of the year, the company showed that the app is unstoppable.

Not in vain, during 2018, the dating app added about 1,200,000 paying users worldwide and earned an income of 805 million dollars. The other brands of the combined group Match obtained an income of 872 million dollars, so it is easy to deduce which is the favorite brand of the company. The app is used by more than 80 million people around the world.
The majority of Tinder’s income comes from its premium version, paid by paid users: Tinder Gold. Gold allows users to have a series of advantages over normal users. For example, more Super Likes, being able to visit other cities from Tinder to meet people in them and know who has given like without the need to match.
On the other hand, the app is expanding especially among young people, with specific measures aimed at users between 18 and 22 years. This is the case of Tinder U, which is the part of the application dedicated exclusively to appointments among university students.
