The puzzles and hobbies of Clint Emerson, a member of the retired NAVY SEAL, are thought to improve brain health. Are you able to solve one?
Clint Emerson is a retired Navy SEAL member, who has become famous in the United States for the books and hobbies he has developed to practice the skills of special forces members.
His latest book is called Deadly Skills Puzzle and Activity Book, and contains a series of puzzles and hobbies designed to practice observing and analyzing situations. Although anyone can solve them, they were developed for veterans and military personnel, including those who suffer severe brain injuries, as a result of their military activity. “They are a tool to recover and improve brain health,” says the prologue.
As an example, this is one of the included puzzles. Can you solve it? The objective is to deploy tents in a forest. Each tent has to be stuck to a tree below, on top, or on one of its sides. A store can not be attached to another store, not even diagonally. The numbers on the sides indicate how many stores have to go in each row, and in each column.
It’s not overly complicated, but you have to think for a while. We recommend that you try it for a few minutes, but if you do not get it and you want to know how it is solved, in this link you have the solution.
