With regard to digital marketing, strategies must vary as frequently as the market and available tools do.

Maybe we are investing extra effort in a platform that does not produce good results or that is no longer relevant to our objective.

It is necessary to ask what social networks we are using, if they are important, and what type (and how much) traffic each one reports. It may be beneficial to abandon certain social networks if they consume a lot of resources and return few results.

If after a long time in a social network we have not achieved a good audience, it may be that there is simply no audience for us on that platform. Sometimes it is better to focus on what works or find a new place than to stick to something that does not bear fruit.

  • Video is shaping up as the future: Video is what triumphs, whether to monetize the content or make itself known. There are dozens of ways to launch video content. Probably YouTube is the first thing that comes to mind, but do not neglect Facebook, Instagram and even Tik Tok.

Formats are also varied. It seems that the Story format (short videos) of Instagram, Snapchat and Tik Tok are the ones that triumph (in part, due to their ease in reaching followers), but we must not forget that live videos are gaining a lot of traction in terms of that digital marketing is concerned.

  • Update your accounts on social networks: Our profiles on different platforms should not be obsolete. The header and profile images must be current and appropriate to the format of the page. Our biography and the information about us or our business must be correct and the links must work. It seems very basic, but it is also very important for digital marketing.
  • Program your content: Create a program with the content that is going to publish can be tremendously useful. Obviously, there will be times when you have to prioritize improvisation, but having the content planned in advance will help us solve situations as frustrating as not knowing what to publish.

Most platforms also allow uploading content automatically to the user’s taste, so we must not forget to use these tools in our planning process.
