Instagram has just announced two new features for the Stories, those that employ more than 450 million users every day and that have caused the ephemeral content to occasionally shift to the traditional feed.

“The news comes for Instagram users on Android, while iOS will have to wait.”

The first one is the possibility of uploading several photos and videos at the same time to the Stories. Until now, when a user wanted to upload several photos or videos of a trip, for example, had to go up each Story individually, editing the image to add stickers, GIF files … and so on.

However, from now on, Android users can upload up to 10 photos and videos at the same time to the Stories. When they upload a first image, they will see a new icon in the upper right corner of the screen that will allow them to display the image gallery of the mobile phone. There you can select up to 10 photos or videos to upload at the same time.

When you select the content, you will see a thumbnail of all of them and you can also check how all the new Stories will look. In addition, you can add stickers, texts, GIF files … to each of them before giving it to publish.

Along with this measure, which will save time to the most prolific users of the Stories as long as they are Android users (iOS users will have to wait a few weeks for this functionality to arrive), Instagram has announced another important improvement for their Stories .

In this case, when a photo or video is shared, the location sticker will automatically suggest places near the site where the image was taken. With this, it is intended to save time or help the user to recognize the name of a place and can use the sticker easily.
