Facebook is still betting on popularizing Stories and from now on social network users will be able to publish these ephemeral contents in the Groups of the platform.
The company of Mark Zuckerberg had been testing this new feature for a few months with some members of the social network and since today it is enabled for all users.
“At the top of the Groups pages will appear the option to see and add a Story.”
Stories will appear at the top of a group’s page and members can add these contents by clicking on the “Add” button, located right next to them. Once the icon is clicked, anyone who wants to upload a content in Story format will only have to select which photo or video of his gallery he wants to share. These publications can be accompanied by different effects, stickers or text boxes.
These Stories may not be visible in Groups that have content moderators. These users who watch over the conciliation of the Groups pages will be able to decide if the Story that the members of the collective want to share is adequate. In addition, they can also limit this functionality and only allow the Group Administrators to upload a Story.
On the other hand, from the point of who enjoys these contents, users can interact with whoever posts a Story with the reactions that Facebook has enabled. The platform has added a series of emojis so that whoever sees a Story can quickly answer the user who has uploaded it. It should be noted that only the owner of said Story will see what those reactions of the members of the Group are.
Facebook thus strengthens its Stories as it did a few months ago with the possibility of adding music to these contents of 24 hours, as well as its availability for businesses that want to promote their products in this way.
