Changes are coming for Google applications. We recently learned that Google will force mobile phone manufacturers to pay if they want to include their applications. These would be sold in groups. Now, it seems that a subscription for users to receive apps in group through the Play Store could be gestating within Google.
“Google could be preparing a subscription service for Play Store called Play Pass that would allow you to receive apps for a monthly fee.”
The subscription could be called Play Pass, and evidence of its possible existence has been found in the Play Store code. In addition, Google has been conducting surveys on a possible subscription service to get applications. The question launched by Google in its surveys asked for “a subscription that offers hundreds of dollars in applications and games for a monthly fee”.
In addition to these tests, from Google have not confirmed anything. So beyond intuiting that a subscription system is in development, little else can be known about the amount of the subscription, what it will include or the release date, if it is to see the light.
Apple has a similar system called “App Bundles”, which appeared with iOS 8, which allows users of the App Store to buy up to 10 applications at once. Many of these groups or “bundles” of apps include applications with discount, so it can be a good way to save money.
Especially for users who consume many games on the phone. In fact, these bundles were popularized by videogame sales pages, and allowed to get a lot of group games for little money. If Google launches a subscription service, it is clear that the games for smrtphone and its users will be the great beneficiaries.
