What is the Google RankBrain?

The Google RankBrain is the Artificial Intelligence system that Google uses.

RankBrain is an artificial intelligence system (and therefore machine learning) that helps Google process some of its search results, particularly rare or unique queries.

It was launched in early 2015 and Google uses it globally.

It is one of the most important SEO factors.

RankBrain classifies web pages and helps in showing results.

How to optimize Google Rankbrain

All we need to do is to create quality content and think about solving problems.

The algorithm of Google Rankbrain evolves and learns to offer better results.

When focusing on rare and unique searches you cannot do much but there are some aspects to take into account to optimize it.

For example, if someone searches:

“Hey, Google, let’s see if you can explain why you drive on the left in the UK and not on the right”.

Google RankBrain tries to eliminate words that do not add value to show the appropriate result.

In this case you should not search “hey Google” or “to see if you can explain” or “and not on the right”.

After Google RankBrain work, it will display results based on:

  • The user’s question or phrase.
  • The search session (when we search for something, we can make several different queries until we find something and several related questions)
  • The time and date of the search.
  • Advertisers for those phrases or words.
  • The anchor text of the links.
  • The domain and its name and content.
